Kim Kearney has over 30 years experience in the real estate industry. In 1986, she founded K3 Investments, a full-spectrum real estate firm which provides clients with brokerage, consulting, valuation, and litigation support services on commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
Ms. Kearney is a Real Estate Broker and Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of California. She earned her Masters of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona. Her Bachelor of Science Degree was from California State University, Long Beach with a major in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.
She has worked with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles to provide hypothetical fair market values as part of highest and best use studies. K3 Investments has handled the acquisition and disposition of both income producing and non-income producing properties. The firm has been involved with lease abstracts, audits, and lease renewal negotiations for both lessors and lessees. Ms. Kearney was retained by UCLA to provide lease briefs on all of their real estate assets. She has provided Broker Price Opinions and Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats (SWOT) analysis on under performing assets for investors.
Ms. Kearney’s expertise was sought by the president of a local realty board to serve as an Arbitrator in an on-going leasing dispute involving retail space. She is qualified as an expert witness in both Bankruptcy and Superior Court.
K3 Investments was awarded a government contract to conduct a nationwide internet survey and on-site focus groups in Washington, D.C. to evaluate the effectiveness and usefulness of Federal Management Regulations concerning real property.
